Turners Fencing & Landscaping is a family-run fencing and landscaping business based in Lymington, New Forest. We are the data controller for any personal information you give us through this website. You can reach us at info@turnersfencingandlandscaping.co.uk or on 07541 082075.
If you fill in the enquiry form we collect your name, phone number, email address, the town you are in and whatever you tell us about the job. We use it for one thing: to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.
If you email or ring us instead, we hold whatever you choose to tell us, for the same purpose.
The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us about work, and, once you engage us, performance of a contract.
Enquiries are emailed to us and a copy is stored in this website’s own database, which is hosted in the European Union by Hostinger. Nobody else has access to it except the person who maintains the site.
We keep enquiries for 24 months and then delete them. Records relating to work we have actually carried out are kept for six years, because tax and insurance rules require it.
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no social media tracking on it. The only cookies WordPress sets are for people logging in to manage the site, which is not you.
The typefaces are served from this website rather than from a third party, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you visited. If we add website statistics in future we will say so here first, and you will be asked before anything non-essential is set.
We link to our Facebook and Instagram pages, our Google Business Profile and the Environment Agency’s public register. Once you follow a link you are on their website and their privacy policy applies, not ours.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@turnersfencingandlandscaping.co.uk and we will deal with it within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
